For this exciting project, I partnered with a pottery studio in Hillsborough, NC, to create a comprehensive brand identity from the ground up. My role encompassed naming, branding, photography, and social media content creation, resulting in a cohesive visual identity that captures the studio's essence of clean, minimalist, and modern aesthetics with organic touches.

Color Selection and Accessibility

Drawing inspiration from the owner's UNC alumni status, I incorporated a refined shade of Carolina Blue into the color palette. This choice not only resonated with the client's personal connection but also aligned perfectly with the brand's modern and fresh appeal. Throughout the design process, I prioritized accessibility, carefully selecting color combinations, text styles, and graphic overlays to ensure optimal readability and visual harmony. This attention to detail resulted in a brand identity that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also inclusive and user-friendly across various applications.

Interactive and Iterative Design Process

My approach to this project was highly collaborative and iterative. I began by creating a wide range of design options, exploring various directions to capture the studio's essence. Through ongoing discussions with the client, we narrowed down these initial concepts to the most promising options. From there, I continued to refine and develop these selections, incorporating feedback and making thoughtful adjustments. This iterative process allowed us to evolve the designs organically, ensuring that the final brand identity truly reflected Sugar Creek Studio's vision while meeting functional and aesthetic goals.
